HEritage Resilience Against CLimate Events on Site – HERACLES is a research and innovation action project funded in the topic DRS-11-2015 Disaster Resilience & Climate Change – Mitigating the impacts of climate change and natural hazards on cultural heritage sites, structures and artefacts

The scope of the project is to design, validate and promote responsive systems/solutions for effective resilience of CH against climate change effects, considering as a mandatory premise an holistic, multidisciplinary approach through the involvement of different expertise’s (end-users, industry/SMEs, scientists, conservators/restorers and social experts, decision, and policy makers).

The role of SISTEMA in the project is to collect historical and current climate change and natural hazards data and make them available in the most effective way to allow the identification of risks and to implement useful mitigation actions to preserve historical building and sites.

The project leading to this application has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 700395
